The Cities of Tomorrow
If you think about life in the city, what comes to your mind? Peaceful strolling or honking cars? Green places or grey asphalt? Our magazine ist located in Stuttgart – a true „city of cars". Like many cities in the 20th century, Stuttgart adapted its design to cars. But at what cost? Cities became louder and less walkable. The air grew dirtier and green places were paved over with asphalt.
But there are cities out there trying to shift the focus back from cars to people. From Copenhagen's shared public spaces to Barcelona's clean-air „super blocks" and the 15-minute neighborhoods of Paris, urban centers are rebuilding themselves. They are asking not how fast we can move through a city, but what kind of lives we want to live inside them.
Join us in our Podcast as we explore „The Cities of Tommorow".
